“…Yeah, this is a capella metal and as you’d expect – they do covers. As a matter of fact, four covers are featured on this album, with an earbook edition to include even more (and yes, as I’ve seen, it’s totally worth it to grab that earbook DVD) so pick that up if you’re interested in hearing them do classics like “Kings Of Metal” and “Fear Of The Dark.” But on the standard CD, the band have performed a respectable version of Europe’s “The Final Countdown” (a song that some of us love to hate, I’m sure) as well as Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out For A Hero” (I’m still partial to the Graveworm version though, so you’ll have to forgive me.) There’s also a cover of “Into The West” which was taken from the Lord Of The Rings Soundtrack, and “Paranoid” as an album closer. Yes, that “Paranoid.” But the band is more than just covers, as they do some rousing originals like “To The Mountains”, “The Awakening” and “My Utopia.” However, there’s not much here that really strikes me as amazing and it’s not the lack of guitars that negates a higher score for this album. It’s just purely due to the simple fact that most of these tracks just pass me by. Sly and Inga Scharf do their very best in the lead vocal element, but there are few memorable moments on the disc…”
