Announcement: Considering Closing The Tower Doors

All things must eventually come to an end and I think this site has had it’s run. We began in 2014 and now we’re here in 2022, where there’s a much different kind of internet. The blogosphere has more or less completely disappeared and in it’s place we have virtual blogging in the form of video content, most commonly found on apps like TikTok and Instagram. Although it was fun, this format altogether seems rather archaic. People just don’t have the attention span for words anymore. Furthermore, Central Scrutinizer isn’t all that keen to write here anymore and says he has a hard time finishing the posts that he starts. Why? Because like myself, he also seems to be busy with other things in life.

First off, I’m busy making content all the time. Usually when I get home from work, I sit down and work on some bit of material. It could be a visual novel reading, rant video or comic reads, which is something new I’ve been doing and seems to do quite well. People seem to like when I read and commentate on various comic volumes, (or several issues if there’s not enough time for a full volume run) so I’ll definitely continue with that. There’s also the Open Mic Roundtable, where I let all of my fans as well as guests and other content creators participate in a weekly topic and then let the conversation flow to the heavens, if it must. We had a packed house in there last night, so it’s doing well. It also allows me to actually play some games while I talk about various things, which I don’t often get to do. In fact, I was told that I should do more beat em’ up style arcade games and with Shredder’s Revenge on the horizon, that sounds like a plan. My news podcast with a longtime co-host just passed episode two-hundred and people still keep tuning in, so I see no reason for that. Plus, I have a family day on Sunday where I make very little content and focus on spending time with family before Monday rolls along and it’s back to business. With all this going on, plus my job (where I practically live at this point) you could say that there’s very little time to write anything. In fact, writing this piece severely limits my Evenicle coverage for this week. But it is what it is.

Additionally, the only voices I’m attracting here are that of a loud vocal minority. I’ll put it like this. I did a show with a content creator and a managing host where I was asked to guest and talk about some doll related topics. I generally do not talk much about dolls these days, but this was a special situation. Additionally, I wasn’t really allowed to veer too far off-topic, even though the content creator in question really seemed to like the technology tangents we were both going on at the time. I personally thought that the show would have done poorly, because there were two angry comments stating that I “whined” and “rambled” but then I noticed that the first commenter was critical of not just me, but the main content creator who hosted this whole shindig. He was just there as a heckler. The other guy was a special case, because he was in fact and incel that seemed to unironically (and many people verified this) worship mass murderer Elliot Rodger. Even used his face as a profile picture. I had first thought of this individual as a troll, but the individual was indeed serious after hours of commenting back and forth along with a slew of insults. He claimed that while he did not like that Rodger called himself “the supreme gentleman” (which I actually had to look up when the guy kept using that term) he edgily replied that “at least he had the guts to pull the trigger.” Immediately, we thought the guy was a fed trying to “gotcha” people as is done online in these spaces, especially after having asked one of my fans if he wanted to go 1v1 on Halo or COD, knowing that’s how to grab an IP address so that it can be reported. Obviously, the guy didn’t go for it and pretty much told him to fuck off. Now, there’s a very good chance this was an elaborate troll, but we have to consider the amount of Rodger worship that unfortunately goes on in the black pill community. Even though as in my interview with a former incel, it was claimed without hesitation that not only was Rodger dating a woman at the time, but he also came from affluence and therefore could not have been considered a “true incel.” He was considered a pickup artist at best.

It’s unfortunate that we’ve come to this era in the dating world as of course I remember a very different landscape where men and women conversed quite a bit more and I myself had several female friends and dated a fair number of women. Of course as you hit forty, you’re either going to have to date a single mother and become a stepfather, or you try your luck with the TikTok and Instagram obsessed younger women that are the very reason for a lot of the discontent I see among young males today. Records I’ve grown up with are almost at the drinking age here (which is 21) so it’s fairly difficult to put myself in their shoes, but I also come from a world where political correctness took a much different form and everyone wasn’t a pseudo activist on the internet. “If you don’t support the Mogadishu water crisis, you’re a bigot. You don’t want those people to die of thirst, do you? How dare you, you monster!” Many of the things I grew up with would shock the current generation and even the people involved with those things are trying their best to bury them or claim it was all an act. Good luck, the truth of the matter is that you’re trying to appeal to a new generation of political correctness in order to keep yourself relevant.

Though the issue is simple. As a young man, you’re like a used car salesman trying to sell polished up vehicles to a person that has ties with companies that produce top of the line sports cars. Foreign monsters, if you will. Not one car that you have on your lot could compare. Young women found a way to push their sexuality onto the internet like never before. Ladies can sell pictures of their feet for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. I knew a foot model back in the day, she wasn’t making that kind of money on fetlife. These young, beautiful girls who’ve in many cases just gone through puberty are making obscene amounts of money on the internet in the form of cash app payments, expensive gifts and more. Once again, when you have a young woman that men around the world are blowing their retirement and savings on in the hopes of a relationship (or worse, the delusion that they’re in a relationship) then you shouldn’t be surprised when they think less of you because they’re looking for the top percentage of men, most of whom may not even live in their area or are they themselves, players or sugar daddies. As it has been stated, the traditional relationship and the traditional marriage are done. Polyamory, swinging, sugar dating and cuckholding seem to be the future of relationships. My point is, she no longer wants or needs one. She no longer needs one car – she needs several. And nothing on your lot, because she’s getting the best in the business straight off the lot. You can’t compete. So because of that, men have had to find alternatives. There are even some guys out there who are so desperate that they will try to get with the most unattractive girls just so they can get some level of validation in society.

It all sounds much better when I can act it out and enunciate, but this is all I can do in this kind of format. Which is maybe one of the best reasons I should close the doors. I don’t finish nearly enough games to review, I watch far too many movies and shows to pen up all the time and I’d rather not spend my days off sitting at this keyboard typing. It’s so much easier to talk. And I know, we have a heckler here. I have no idea why they even bother commenting since no one can seem comments unless I approve them. It’s a really bored troll who tries to stalk and frighten me, which should be illegal. I’d like to see the guy in person so I can just spit on them. That’s how I feel about it. Even Central Scrutinizer keeps asking through messenger how this person has so much time on their hands to troll every single post we make. It’s pretty damn silly. Again, most folks never see them and most folks won’t see this. Because it’s a dead format. Unless you’re some form of news media, a database or are selling something, the idea of a website just isn’t necessary for most people. In fact, when I was first going to build a new site last year, I was being encouraged to create a site for marketing and the buying and selling of products. Hell, people can even sell illegal products like bootleg T-shirts and Chinese gaming consoles through legitimate storefronts now. Soulja Boy may have gotten stomped, but that didn’t stop an ad from a guy who was illegally selling Pandora Saga models from popping up on my YouTube feed yesterday. And what kind of site do you think he uses to sell them, huh? Exactly. Guy probably makes a mint, not gonna lie. Kids, don’t sell drugs, sell bootleg fucking game consoles. I’m sure the hood knows this shit already though.

Bringing my rambling to a point, the fact of the matter is that despite the loud minority of the content creator troll and the Elliot Rodger worshiping psycho (or legitimate fed) the majority of people watching that video liked it. According to the host, the video received 295 likes to just 4 dislikes. That’s not even 10% of the audience. So yes, in all honesty there were people who did sit down and watch me talk with this other content creator for about forty-five minutes and they responded positively. Additionally, shows where I’ve been on with the main content creator do very well. Thousands of likes on those videos and mostly positive comments as well. The point is, you have to ignore the trolls. Our troll won’t even read this because it’s too long – and you might not either. Which is fine, because there are other places to catch me and the fans know where those are. They come to me willingly and because they have chosen me to entertain them and inform them as I continue making content that I enjoy and hopefully they’ll continue to enjoy. It’s been a good run and I’m going to do a full consensus on social media, but if people feel that this site just isn’t what it used to be, then I’ll junk it completely. I’ll still pay for the domain, but there just won’t be a site attached to it. It just goes to show you that I spend hundreds of dollars on all the wrong things and while I won’t get that money back, I’ll definitely make better choices with future investments.
