Hey, folks! This is just a quick maintenance update for those who were having trouble accessing our links. We had a flurry of attacks from spambots due to an insecure version of our website. We were being hit with hundreds of attacks a second, so I finally called up my webhost and had this issue fixed. Now, no matter how you type it in, you’ll always be directed to our secure website. However, that also brought on another large issue – none of our links were working. I just discovered that today and called my webhost again about the issue. Within two hours they fixed the permalink issue and now you should be able to access all of our links with no trouble at all. I will of course be writing some new material, but for right now we still have a bit more of the classic content (if you think 2018-2020 counts as classic) to put up. It should be another month or so before I’ve finished posting all of it and then I’ll see what the next step will be. There are a lot of things I want to say of course, but I’m not currently in the mood for it right now after going through all the hassle of getting the website to actually fucking work.
Also, we go down for a few minutes every now and again. It used to happen quite a bit, but now not so much. I usually get an alert when we’re down. We were down for about two minutes around nine this morning, so that’s not really a big deal I’d say. It’s also July and that’s the month of American independence. I’m an American and I do have a sense of pride in my country, or at least what it used to stand for – even though I agree that things have gotten rather corrupt as of late. They’ve blocked PornHub in our state, for instance. Not the worst thing in the world as dozens of other sites exist (which I dont even look at, tbh – There’s Twitter for all that) but it does show that our freedoms in this country are starting to fade one by one. But that’s another topic.
